Our registered periodontal hygienists have the critical role of supporting the care provided by your periodontist.

Michelle Fraser graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at University of Alberta, Canada in 1991. She worked in general private practice in Edmonton, Alberta for six years before emigrating to Australia. Michelle is an experienced Periodontal Hygienist and has been with the Periocare team since 2001.
Michelle is a member of the Dental Hygienist’s Association and has held executive committee positions in the Queensland branch. Michelle actively participates in Periocare’s fundraising activities and completed the Kokoda Challenge (2011) and the Oxfam Trailwalker (2012).
Jeremy joined Periocare in 2007 when the new 800 Gympie Rd premises opened. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 2000 with a B.Applied HSc (Oral Health). Jeremy has over 12 years experience working in general dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics and specialist HIV/Oncology Dental Hospital services (St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney). Jeremy is a proud member of the Dental Hygienists’ Association (Qld).
In his spare time, Jeremy enjoys competitive road cycling and watching rugby.
Alan Timmerman Graduated in 2010 from the Oral Health Therapy program at Griffith University.
Alan has over 10 years of experience working in general and specialist practices. His main passion however lies in Periodontics where he has focused his work since 2013.
Alan is passionate about providing the best care for his patients and has undertaken extensive professional development and mentoring in Periodontics.
In his spare time, Alan enjoys snowboarding, travelling and fishing.
Elizabeth (“Liz”) joined Periocare in 2005 and is a longstanding and dedicated team member. Liz graduated (dux) in 1990 from Adelaide, which was the only training facility in Australia at the time. Liz has been employed in both private practice and the public sector in general and specialist dental practices. She has held executive committee positions in the Dental Hygienists’ Association of Australia (Qld).
Liz has additional qualifications in local anaesthesia, orthodontics, oral health education and dental radiography.
Tracey Hua graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Queensland in 2010. From an early age, she was drawn dentistry because of its hands-on nature and the opportunities to improve people’s oral health.
Tracey has a fun and cheerful approach to dentistry, instilling confidence in even the most nervous patients. She focuses on providing the highest quality of care while still giving patients a gentle, positive experience. Outside of work Tracey loves to rock climb, cycle, travel and is quite the foodie.
Elizabeth (“Libby”) graduated from the University of Queensland in 2009 and has worked in the public sector in rural Queensland and private dental practice and specialist orthodontic practice in Brisbane. Before joining Periocare Libby was working for the Australian Dental Association Queensland Branch and completed a Masters in Training and Development. Her role included providing support to Member dentists in their Practices conducting audits throughout Queensland, designing and facilitating continuing professional development events for dentists and their staff in Brisbane and North Queensland, assessing dental assisting students as well as working with Queensland dental universities. Libby was also a member of the Oral Health Committee.
Libby is a member of the Dental Hygiene Association of Queensland and in her spare time enjoys running, travel, watching all forms of sport and spending time with friends and family.
